Security Officers play a crucial role during any emergency situation. The job of a Security Officer is always protection of people & property. 

The ability to communicate properly during an emergency can be the difference between life & death. 

NOTIFY: Security Officers are often the first responders during an emergency situation. They may be responsible for alerting the authorities and coordinating with emergency responders, such as police or fire departments.

EVACUATE: Security Officers may help evacuate people from the affected area. They may direct people to the nearest exits, assist people with disabilities, and ensure that everyone evacuates safely.
DIRECT: People may panic or become disoriented.  Security Officers help maintain order by controlling crowds, ensuring that people move in an orderly fashion, and preventing any unauthorized access to the area.
SECURE:  Security Officers may be instructed to secure the perimeter and watch the area for threats.
