8-Hour Unarmed Annual

 You need a valid NYS Security Guard License in order to take this course.

This is an 8-hour course that must be completed each calendar year you hold a security officer license, and annually thereafter. Your license is issued for 2 years. This means that you must complete 2 training courses of 8-hour Annual In-Service before your registration expires.

This course provides the student with up-to-date information on the duties and responsibilities of a security officer. It contains the same topics covered by the 8-hour pre-assignment course. You need an NYS Security Officer License to be eligible to take this course. At the end of the course, an 8-Hour Unarmed Annual Certificate will be provided for your record.
